cOh peeps I am feeling really blue and down today. Just had some news from the vet about my 12 yr old labroador/collie. I have been told that it looks like she has cancer of the neck of the bladder. Unfortunatley no tests can show this up they can only go on various elimination tests. They have tested and xrayed her bladder and any water she makes is just going straight through her. Bladder is holding nothing. She has serious water burns and is in some agony. She is still anaesthatised as I write this. The vet wants me to try her on some tablets 2 times a day over the next 3 days and if she doesnt show any signs of responding then the only option is Euthanaisia. This will be decided late on Monday after all the test results are back. I'm really going to miss her. Shes like a member of the family. I've had her since my son was 1month old and he is going to be so upset when I tell him the news I know we will both be in floods of tears. Sadly yours Goose xx

Hi goose - just read your post - I am so sorry about your pal. Been there years ago and know what you are going through. Only thing you can do is keep reminding yourself of all the great times you have had together and keep the memories happy. xxx the duchess
