Before asking for help please make sure you have done the following.
1. deleted cookies / temp files / history (instructions below) 2.Restarted your PC
Please DO NOT post a question here before doing the above. It will invariably be the first question we will ask you !
What you should include in your Help Request
Please make sure that you include the following items in your help request.
1. Your OS (Operating System) i.e Windows 98 / Xp etc 2. The exact wording of any error messages you get 3. Did you download anything or change any settings on your PC , immediatly before your problem arose? 4. Be as specific as possible with your fault. i.e telling us that your PC has gone 'funny' is not helpfull !
Instructions on how to delete Cookies / Files / History
Open any internet explorer webpage. At the top of the page click on Tools Then click Internet Options Make sure the General Tab is displayed on the box that opens.

You need to add your contact to both addies. When logged on under the address where your contact doesn't appear, do "add contact" and they should then show on your list.

I think what Crystal meant was that how could the guy contact her when she was signed in with the passport that he hasnt been added too.
The simple answer is i dont know , except to say that maybe u didnt properly sign out of the first passport properly.
If this happens again delete cookies and temp files , then restart your pc. If the guy cant contact you then thats your answer. If you wish to delete this guy permanently make sure you block the guy first , then delete him as a contact.
Hope that helps

Howdy, here`s hoping someone can help me out.Recently I changed to Mozilla Firebird, also installed Zone-Alarm and Visual Zone addy.Since doing this I have had all sorts of problems getting all the features of different sites I visit. In particular my most visited one WCN.I think that I have the settings for Z-A and V-Z wrong.Could anyone tell me which are the settings that prevent me being able to post replies etc. Also this is the first time I have been able to view the xmas theme background(which I might add is fantastic). The only reason I got here tonight is because I cranked IE back up and shut down Zone-Alarm...Visual-Zone...And Web Washer.Could using these progs in unison have anything to do with my problem.Any help or advice welcome.Sorry if I haven`t explained myself properly,Not quite sure how.Must admit this does not occur on all sites I visit, only some...about 30% I reckon. Thanks Albatross. p.s. I hope this doesn`t ruin your Xmas.

hey Albatross,
ok , i am not familiar with the Web Washer program , but after a little searching found a tutorial on how to configure it correctly. click on this link www.pacificnet.net/%7Ebbruce/workshop.htm
Visual Zone is not something i have ever heard of either , and i cant find anything called that on Google or Yahoo.
Mozilla as an alternative browser has pro's and cons ,and it also comes with an in built pop up blocker.
The problem as it appears to me is that you have Mozilla , WebWasher , Visual Zone , and Zone Alarm trying to block pop ups. It reminds me of the old saying , 'Too many cooks ..... etc etc ' .
Zone Alarm without doubt can block images. As this happened with my Zone Alarm.
Open up Zone Alarm , click on the Privacy tab , and then click Custom under the 'Ad Blocking' heading . Make sure than its not blocking images that its supposed too.
If you are getting pop ups , getting more pop up blockers is rarely the answer. Rather than trying to add more protection from outside i think you would be better seeking a possible spyware prog already on your pc . If you wish to go down this route , do a Hijack This report and copy and paste it to me in PM on here.
Hope that helps ,
tc

Thanks for your prompt reply Box.I have taken note and will do as you suggested.I think that perhaps I am over the top with all this security I have(stems from a nasty experience with porn flooding my computer uninvited a couple of times and trying to protect my family from this rubbish).Visual Zone is an addy that slots in with Zone Alarm, and is supposed to stop outgoing "snoops",not to sure what you call them.A firewall that shuts the back door.I`ll read up on that link you gave,no doubt that will help me considerably.I have to admit ,since having all this protection I have had zero intrusions and this boosts my confidence when the kids are online.I also have NOD32 on board.Until I sort it out I will just use IE for my visits here, and the kids use.I love Mozilla/firebird for it`s outright speed.Well that`s enough from me,I`m going to do some configuring,Thanks so much and I`ll post back my results.Have a safe Xmas and thanks for all your help, past and present. A.

Hi Box......Merry Christmas to you.
A quick note to say the problem I was having in the previous post, has been resolved. It was due to plug ins,or lack of them.I now know something else about my computer. I have also found a good balance with all my security .Thanks for your help.
Cheers
A.
