IRCxPro Messenger SetupDownload the software from: IRCxPro MessengerDon't save, click on "Open" to open the file from its current location When it has finished working: Start IRCxPro Messenger from Start Menu. When the face icon appears on your start bar (systray) click on it This should then come up without all the room names- Click on the IRCXpro Button on the bottom of the small window and then click on Options. Fill in the form as shown here, (the Green writing is what you must type in/ensure it says it, the Red is where you substitute your info as required) Server Name: wcnserver.dyndns.org Port: 6667 User ID: your real name (ie, Adrian, Fred, Jane) (Doesnt have to be real) Nick Name: an name to use on the chat system (ie, Daemon) Password can be left blank Make sure that the Enable Ident Server box is ticked Click on OK Your IRCxPro program is now set up. If you do not see the menu screen as shown above, click on the "Channels" button next to the "x" at the top of the screen. All you need to do to join a room is double click on the name or click once and then click on the "Enter Room" button (lower left). just in case there is a problem, screen shots show IRCXPro Messenger and I apologise if I infringe any copyright

Thanks Ced, I told him you fancy him, but the says he's straight so sorry bout that
I went into Lobby via a different route last night. Today however the rooms are listed as expected, but it still keeps stopping - am trying to determine if it's the MessIXpro thingy or my PC.. will let you know.

I think my problems with ICRxpro are sorted.
It runs as I start up my pc and then after a while was logging itself out and not allowing me to bring it back on line. I had a fiddle and I got to a screen where I was instructed to enter a code to avoid being timed out - so it seems as if that was the problem. I entered the code, rebooted and haven't experienced any problems since.
It does however take up a fair bit of resource on the old PC, but as long as I don't run too many applications at once everything is fine.
Thanks Mr Box for taking time out to assist! Woof from Jeffrey.
