Hey Cryst , thanx for that. Before we get into the cleaning process i need to look at two files that you have which i am not familiar with.
U can find them here C:\WINDOWS\DOWNLO~1\SEARCH~1.DLL <- this dll to locate the .dll file i am after , click on 'My Computer' and then click on the C drive. Double click on windows icon , then open the downlo~1 folder and send me the search~1.dll as an email attachment plz.
Also do the same with this file:C:\WINDOWS\FMP.exe <- this file its the FMP.exe i am after.
You have a lot of spyware here hun , also your browser (Internet explorer) has been what they call 'hijacked' by My Web Search.
You can do as Birdie suggested and try the download she recommends , i have never used it so i cant comment. Whether it works or not, u will still have considerable amount of spyware on your pc , so i am afraid this is neccesary as u will simply become re infected.

My Email address is boxcleva@wcnetwork.net
p.s I dont personally use msn messenger PLUS , but several spyware forums that i am a member of have people getting spyware after d/loading it. Apparently when installing plus u get a tickbox which will allow third parties to send you their spyware , make sure this box is unticked . You should then be able to use plus without any probs.

I wasnt going to mention this box but I feel silly enough as it is, so I thought I'd go whole hog and admit to being stupid, ummmm I've done what you said and I still cant find those files. My computer has files all over the place and it's like I've stood at the door and trhown everything in.

np cryst , click on the following link , and disable system restore ( u will need to restart after doing so , and do the steps in reverse to start it again when u have finished)
service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001012513122239
When u have disabled system restore , do your AVG scan again and try and get it to fix the problem .
